Other Degrees |
Seminarians have the opportunity to earn a second Masters Degree (in either Theology or Biblical Studies) during their time at Mount St. Mary's Seminary. While the Master of Divinity Degree is a professional degree; these degrees are considered to be academic degrees. The degree requirements are specified in the course catalog in the "Special Studies" section. The degrees are not difficult for a seminarian to obtain as many of the required courses are already covered in the requirements for the Master of Divinity Degree and by the requirements of the Program for Priestly Formation.
