Non-Degree Studies

Registration for courses by students not enrolled in degree programs

Qualified students may enroll in most Athenaeum courses, on a credit or audit basis, without having been admitted to a degree program.  In this way they can design their own course of studies.

Such students must give evidence that they possess competence to pursue the level of course work for which they register.  In the case of graduate courses, this ordinarily means that they must have earned a bachelor’s degree.  They must also have fulfilled the prerequisites for any given course.  Persons interested in enrolling in any Athenaeum course should contact the Office of the Registrar.

If you are interested in enrolling in a course,  please email Dr. Terrance D. Callan, Dean of Special Studies.
