Through the Maly Library, faculty and students have access to a wide variety of databases, which can be accessed in the library or remotely from other locations. Library staff members are happy to assist you in selecting and using databases for your research. Please visit or call the library for assistance.

Catholic Periodical and Literature Index (CPLI)

An index of Christian publications, including articles, book reviews, essays and book chapters.

Religion and Philosophy Collection

A collection of articles, mostly full-text, from philosophy and a broad range of religions.

 

Academic Search Premier

an EBSCO database

Full-text scholarly articles from a wide range of academic subjects.

 

Philosopher's Index

an EBSCO database

Scholarly research since 1940 in fifteen fields of philosophy, published as journal articles, books, contributions to anthologies, and book reviews. The Index includes more than 622 regularly indexed current journals from more than 40 countries in English, Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Czech, Hungarian, Polish and many other languages.

More Research Databases from OHIOLINK

Many additional online research databases are available through OhioLINK. These resources can be used by all library patrons in the Maly Library. Current faculty, staff, and student patrons can use these resources from home or other computers. Guest patrons are not able to log into these resources from any computers other than those in the Maly Library.

Ohio Digital Resource Commons (DRC)

Ohio campuses are treasure troves of knowledge, but valuable resources are often hidden. The Ohio Digital Resource Commons (DRC) provides a robust, statewide platform for saving, discovering and sharing—free of charge—the instructional, research, historic and creative materials produced by the University System of Ohio and Ohio's private colleges. In the DRC you can search for all variety of content including documents, such as articles, preprints, working papers, technical reports, conference papers, theses, dissertations, images and data sets. It also supports a virtually unlimited variety of digital file types and formats including audio, video, streaming video, multimedia presentations, animations, simulations, learning objects and Web pages. .
