Registration for the Summer Semester is now open. Students may register online. Registration becomes final with payment of tuition by check or by calling Mr. Sweeney with credit card information.
Summer Course Offerings - The courses will be held on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:40 and will run for five weeks.
S 428 Marian Devotion and Apostolic Life Fr. Rob Jack, STL, Instructor in Systematic Theology, will offer a course on Monday and Thursday nights from 7:00-9:40 PM, beginning May 18. The course will look at the connection of Marian devotion and the rise of Apostolic movements based on Mary. The class will examine True Devotion of St. Louis de Montfort and the spiritual movements that grew out of the Montfortian Spirituality. The groups in particular that will be studied are the Legion of Mary, Militia Immaculata, Schoenstatt, and the worldwide Family rosary movement of Fr. Peyton. (Jack, 2 credits)
B 415 Justice in the Prophetic Tradition Mr. Marco Mulattieri, SSL, assistant professor of biblical studies, will offer a course on Monday and Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:40 PM, beginning May 18. The course will examine the contemporary understanding or perception of justice and then examine the biblical vision of justice, especially through the prophets, to see how it can help us better understand what is just. (Mulattieri, 2 credits)
Both courses are 2 graduate credits and can be taken for credit or audit. Courses are $540 per credit hour or $225 per Audit Hour. The Alumni or Senior Citizen Rate is $125 per Audit Hour. Registration is open and students may register online now. Registration becomes final upon payment of tuition which must be done by check or by calling Mr. Sweeney with credit card information. The deadline for registration prior to having to pay the late fee is May 11, 2015. Early registration will be important for helping to order the right number of books for classes prior to the start of the summer semester.
