Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology (MTSM) is the center for ecclesial formation sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Our mission is to form men and women to faithfully follow Christ and serve His mission by fulfilling their vocations in the Church. MTSM is a growing, vibrant organization with more than 90 seminarians from six different dioceses and many more men and women working towards graduate degrees and certificates.

Are you a dynamic fundraiser with a passion for mission-driven work? Do you thrive on building relationships, telling compelling stories, and turning generosity into transformation?

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) is seeking an enthusiastic and results-oriented Director of the Annual Fund to join our Development team. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead the strategy and execution of our annual giving program—connecting donors to the life-changing work of forming future priests, deacons, and lay leaders for the Catholic Church.

This is more than a fundraising job. It’s an invitation to shape the future of the Church.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive a multi-year plan to grow both annual fund revenue and donor participation
  • Design and implement targeted, multi-channel appeals (print, email, social, etc.) that inspire action
  • Personally manage a portfolio of mid-to-major annual donors, including Bishop Fenwick Society members ($1,000+)
  • Collaborate with leadership, faculty, and staff to elevate the impact of our mission
  • Analyze data, evaluate results, and adjust strategies to meet and exceed annual goals

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1–3 years of relevant fundraising or nonprofit experience
  • Demonstrated success in face-to-face donor engagement and solicitation
  • Strong writing skills and an eye for donor data and trends
  • Creative thinking and drive to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Deep respect for the mission of the Catholic Church and Catholic formation
