Mount St. Mary’s Seminary and School of Theology (MTSM) is the center for ecclesial formation sponsored by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. Through its two divisions (Mount St. Mary’s Seminary of the West and the School of Theology) it prepares men for the Catholic priesthood and men and women for various roles in the Church.
Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology invites applications for the position of Professor of Systematic Theology.
The ordinary teaching load is nine hours per semester, and includes courses in the Master of Divinity, Master of Arts in Theology, and Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry programs, and in the formation of permanent deacon candidates.
Requirements
- A practicing Catholic, faithful to the Magisterium of the Catholic Church; must have a willingness to make the Profession of Faith and Oath of Fidelity and to seek the mandatum from the Archbishop of Cincinnati.
- A terminal degree—S.T.D., S.L.D., or Ph.D.—by the time of appointment.
- Demonstrated competency in the area of Systematic Theology, including Sacramental Theology, as understood by the Catholic Church.
- Commitment to effective teaching; utilization of instructional technology; willingness to teach introductory courses and supervise student thesis writing.
- Ability to work in a collegial setting and in a manner supportive of the formational goals, programs, and personnel of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology.
- Willingness to carry out assigned administrative tasks and take an active part in faculty meetings and committees.
Evidence of scholarly publication and participation in professional societies and conferences.
Salary and rank dependent on level of experience.

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our facilities management team. This position reports to the Director of Maintenance. You will perform essential upkeep and repairs, ensuring our facility remains clean, safe, and fully functional for employees, students and visitors. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, possessing a strong work ethic and the physical stamina for the role.
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt
Working Hours: Monday thru Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Responsibilities
- Assist with painting, plastering, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance tasks
- Conduct minor repairs, including fixing leaking and clogged pipes, repairing bathroom fixtures, replacing light bulbs and filters and applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems
- Perform mowing, trimming, cleaning and other landscape duties
- Respond to maintenance request and work orders in an efficient and timely manner
- Clean floors, walls, fixtures and equipment as required
- Perform other maintenance and custodial related tasks as requested
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general maintenance. Strong electrical, plumbing or HVAC skills a plus
- Proficiency with various hand and power tools
- Must be trustworthy and honest and have a good disposition
- Must be able to take initiative to do what needs to be done
- Must have the ability to safely operate power tools, lawn equipment and other machinery
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle physical demanding tasks, including walking and standing for long periods, climbing ladders and lifting up to 50 pounds
