Profile 

Rev. Daniel Hess is a priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, ordained in 2011. In 2016, he received his licentiate in sacred theology from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas in Rome with the thesis “The Holy Church: Wounded by Sins Not Her Own.” He received master’s degrees in divinity and theology from the Athenaeum of Ohio, and he holds a juris doctorate from Notre Dame Law School. 

Fr. Hess teaches courses on preaching, sacramental theology and Catholic doctrine. As director of the propaedeutic stage, Fr. Hess guides seminarians in their preliminary discernment for the priesthood. He also serves on the Seminary Formation Team.
