Profile
Rev. Eric Wood was ordained to the priesthood in 2015 by Archbishop Dennis Schnurr for service in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati. He is an Assistant Professor of Moral Theology and serves the Seminary as Director of the Apostolic Works and Internship Program.
In October 2024, Fr. Wood received his Doctor of Sacred Theology from the Alphonsian Academy in Rome. His dissertation was titled ‘Newman’s Law of Providence and Christian Morality: The Human Capacity for Relationality as the Primary Foundation for the Development of Moral Character.’
Fr. Wood holds master’s degrees in divinity and theology from the Athenaeum of Ohio and he received a licentiate in sacred theology (summa cum laude) from the Pontifical Alphonsian Academy.
