Rev. Ryan Ruiz, a priest of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, is Dean of the School of Theology and Associate Professor of Liturgy and Sacraments. He earned both a doctorate and licentiate in sacred liturgy from the Pontifical Athenaeum of Saint Anselm in Rome, and his Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies degrees were completed at the Athenaeum of Ohio.
Fr. Ruiz serves on multiple Archdiocesan and national committees, including as a Consultant for the USCCB’s Committee of Divine Worship, and is a regular consultor within the Archdiocese on liturgical matters.
The author of numerous articles and presentations on the liturgy, Fr. Ruiz most recently co-edited and contributed to Antistite Nostro, a Festschrift in honor of Archbishop Dennis M. Schnurr.
