A new organ for the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great at MTSM has been the talked about for a long time. For Dr. Mary Catherine Levri, Director of Music at MTSM, it was something that was discussed with her during her interview to join the MTSM faculty. For many at the Seminary, the process of acquiring a new organ has been part of their entire tenures.

A dream many years in the making will become a reality on Sunday (October 8) when Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) blesses and dedicates its new pipe organ, Pasi Opus 29, in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great. The once-in-a-lifetime event, with the Archbishop of Cincinnati The Most Reverent Dennis M. Schnurr presiding, will begin at 7 p.m. and the event is open to the public.

Wednesday was an exciting day at Mount St. Mary's Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) as, following years of planning and the help of countless donors and supporters of the Sacred Music Institute (SMI), MTSM's new Pasi Opus 29 organ arrived from Roy, Washington and was moved into the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great.
