Deacon Jacob Schmiesing Thanksgiving 2025 Message

On behalf of all of us at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology, I would like to wish you all a happy and blessed Thanksgiving. Hopefully, you are able to celebrate God’s generosity with your family and friends, giving thanks for all He has done for you. This year, I am able to thank God, as well as everyone who has supported me over my years in seminary, for the gift of ordination to the diaconate. By this time next year, I hope to be offering the Holy Eucharist, a true sacrifice of Thanksgiving, in gratitude for my ordination to the priesthood. May God bless you abundantly this year!
