MTSM Hosts Dr. Michael Foley for LeBlond Lecture

Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) welcomed Dr. Michael Foley, Professor of Patristics at Baylor University for the Fall 2026 LeBlond Lecture on September 9 in the Bartlett Center at MTSM.
Dr. Foley’s lecture was entitled ‘How the Mass Shaped the Western World’. Dr. Foley pointed to examples throughout history and within every day life in the United States, from architecture of buildings to how music is composed to what food and drink became popular in places, to show the long-lasting effects of the Church.
