The Sacred Music Institute at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology will welcome internationally-acclaimed organist Dr. Jonathan Moyer for an evening recital on the monumental Pasi Opus 29 organ on Sunday, November 15, 2026 at 7 p.m. Associate Professor of Organ at Oberlin Conservatory, one of the leading schools of music in the world, Moyer will perform organ works in alternation with chant sung by the seminarians of MTSM’s Latin Schola. This event is co-sponsored by the Cincinnati Chapter of the American Guild of Organists.
Admission is free and open to the public.
About Dr. Jonathan Moyer
Jonathan Moyer is the David S. Boe Associate Professor of Organ and Chair of the Organ Department at Oberlin Conservatory. Moyer completed his Doctoral of Musical Arts, Graduate Performance Diploma and Master’s Degree in Music from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University, in addition to completing an Artist Diploma in Organ at the Oberlin Conservatory. Moyer has performed organ recitals throughout the United State and around the world, specializing in renaissance and 21st century pieces.
