Archdiocese of Cincinnati Ordains Seven Formed at MTSM to Priesthood

The Archdiocese of Cincinnati welcomed their seven newest priests, all of whom were formed and educated at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) to the ministry of the priesthood ordination on Saturday, May 18, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains in Cincinnati.
The Most Rev. Dennis M. Schnurr, Archbishop of Cincinnati, Chancellor of The Athenaeum of Ohio and Chairman of the MTSM Board of Trustees celebrated the Mass and conducted the ordination rite. At the conclusion of the service, the first pastoral assignments for the seven men serving the Archdiocese was announced. The full listing is below and begin on July 1, 2024.
The seven ordinands for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati were the first of 16 involving men who completed their formation at MTSM this spring. The month of June will see a trio of priesthood ordination celebrations that will see the other nine ordained, with Rev. Mr. Van Tran being ordained for the Archdiocese of Louisville on June 1, seven men being ordained for the Diocese of Charlotte on June 15 and Rev. Mr. Christopher Turner being ordained for the Diocese of Toledo on June 22.
