Archdiocese of Cincinnati Ordains Two Formed at MTSM to Priesthood
05.21.25The Archdiocese of Cincinnati welcomed its two newest priests, both of whom were formed and educated at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) to the ministry of the priesthood ordination on Saturday, May 17, at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains in Cincinnati.
In his first priesthood ordination since becoming Archbishop in April, The Most Rev. Robert G. Casey, Archbishop of Cincinnati, Chancellor of The Athenaeum of Ohio and Chairman of the MTSM Board of Trustees, celebrated the Mass and conducted the ordination rite. At the conclusion of the service, the first pastoral assignments for the men serving the Archdiocese were announced. The full listing is below and begin on July 1, 2025.
The ordinands for the Archdiocese of Cincinnati were the first of 12 involving men who completed their formation at MTSM this spring. This upcoming Saturday (May 24), a trio of men from the Diocese of Toledo (Rev. Mr. Travis Kahle, Rev. Mr. Eric Kaufman and Rev. Mr. Kevin McGraw) will be ordained to the priesthood. On June 7, the Archdiocese of Indianapolis will ordain Rev. Mr. Liam Hosty to the priesthood and on June 14, six men from the Diocese of Charlotte (Rev. Mr. Christopher Angermeyer, Rev. Mr. Anthony del Cid Lucero, Rev. Mr. Nicholas Kramer, Rev. Mr. Kolbe Murrey, Rev. Mr. Andrew Templeton and Rev. Mr. Joseph Yellico), will receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders.
