MTSM Advancement Office Grows to Meet Needs of Seminary
07.22.21Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) has recently expanded the Advancement Department to include two new employees, Michael Fiore and Jared Diesslin.
“We’re excited about the additional expertise our newest staff members bring, especially as we continue to grow to meet the needs of the Seminary,” said Dr. Lori Rassati, MTSM’s Vice President of Development & Relations. “We are committed to supporting the future priests of our archdiocese and other sending dioceses, and Michael and Jared will help us achieve that.”
Fiore will serve as the Director of the Annual Fund, a new position at MTSM. Fiore will manage all annual giving activities and implement a comprehensive, multi-year plan to strengthen the MTSM Annual Fund to meet the operational needs. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Cincinnati and prior to joining MTSM, he worked at PLK Communities.
As the database manager, Diesslin oversees all alumni and donor data and records, data quality, integrity and security as well as data analysis. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Notre Dame and before joining MTSM, Diesslin worked at Fifth Third Bank. He replaces Kelsey Lynn who relocated with her family to southern Indiana.
MTSM continues to grow as the needs of the Seminary expand. This summer the Seminary hosted its first series of Continuing Formation Conferences that included three different weeks of speakers and attendees for ordained priests at various stages of their ministry. The Seminary also hosted the third annual Sacred Music Institute Conference.
MTSM is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s graduate-level Catholic Seminary and School of Theology with nearly 200 full and part-time students. Founded in 1829, our 75-acre campus provides preparation for ordination to the priesthood and permanent diaconate as part of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary.
