MTSM Donors Demonstrate Generosity in Historic Fiscal Year
07.16.24The generosity and support of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) friends and donors was once again demonstrated during Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2023 – June 30, 2024). MTSM’s donor base of more than 1,400 donors helped bring into MTSM $2,555,239 via the Annual Fund and $5,124,363 overall. Both numbers are Seminary records for a Fiscal Year without a capital campaign.
“Our donors and their generosity are what make what we do at MTSM possible,” Dr. Lori Rassati, Vice President of Development & Relations at MTSM, said. “All of us, especially the seminarians, are grateful for the continued support of MTSM’s mission and the future generations of the Catholic Church.”
This academic year, 17 men who completed their formation at MTSM were ordained into the holy priesthood to five dioceses, including seven in Cincinnati. This year, God willing, another 12 men will follow them into the priesthood via ordination next spring. Next month, MTSM will welcome back its seminarians for the start of a new academic year as they continue to prepare for and embrace their calling along with another new batch of first-year seminarians that will help continue MTSM’s mission in forming the next generation to follow Christ and serve in His Church.
MTSM is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s graduate-level Catholic Seminary and School of Theology. Founded in 1829, the 75-acre campus prepares men for ordination to the priesthood and permanent diaconate as part of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. In addition, the School of Theology offers classes for graduate and certificate programs for laity, clergy and religious.
