MTSM Faculty Member Elected President of Society for Catholic Liturgy
11.07.22Dr. Mary Catherine Levri, Director of Music and Assistant Professor of Music & Pastoral Studies at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology, was recently elected as the President of the Society for Catholic Liturgy. The announcement was made at the society’s annual conference that took place in Denver, Colorado, at the end of September.
“Dr. Levri’s election is a great recognition of her professional credentials, administrative skills and scholarly engagement,” said Rev. Ryan Ruiz, Dean of Mount St. Mary’s School of Theology. “I am proud that Dr. Levri has been elected president of the society, and I am grateful for her willingness to generously serve the larger national Church in this capacity.”
Prior to being elected as president of the Society for Catholic Liturgy, Dr. Levri served as the Vice-President and Treasurer of the society.
MTSM is the Archdiocese of Cincinnati’s graduate-level Catholic Seminary and School of Theology. Founded in 1829, our 75-acre campus prepares men for ordination to the priesthood and permanent diaconate as part of Mount St. Mary’s Seminary.
