MTSM Holding Open Auditions For 2024-25 Athenaeum Chorale

Auditions for the Athenaeum Chorale, a liturgical choral group that sings at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great, are now open through September 1, 2024. All interested singers age 18 and older are welcome to audition.

The Chorale season for 2024-25 will include two Solemn Vespers liturgies with choral concerts in the fall, including a special Advent service in honor of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday, December 8.
The Chorale is made up of diocesan church musicians, professional section leaders from the Cincinnati area and other exceptional singers interested in performing great works of sacred music. Singing with the Chorale is a wonderful way to connect with fellow musicians and to participate in the rich liturgical life at MTSM.
