MTSM Hosts Annual Bishop Fenwick Society Reception

Last Friday, Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) hosted its annual reception for members of the Bishop Fenwick Society (BFS). MTSM’s largest event of the year, nearly 230 supporters of the Seminary gathered on campus to meet the seminarians and priest faculty and to celebrate the 16 men who will receive the Sacrament of Holy Orders in the coming weeks and be ordained to the priesthood.

“We are grateful so many generous donors and friends took the time to join us on a busy weekend,” Dr. Lori Rassati, Vice President of Development & Relations said. “We are blessed with tremendous men being formed for the priesthood at MTSM, and are always happy when people get the opportunity to meet and interact with them.”

The Bishop Fenwick Society honors the legacy of Cincinnati’s first bishop, Edward Fenwick (1822-1833). These important benefactors support the education of tomorrow’s priests, deacons and lay ministers, financially and spiritually through significant annual gifts to the Seminary’s funds.
