MTSM Hosts Annual Golf Outing
10.17.22Recently, Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) hosted its 34th annual Golf Outing at The Vineyard Golf Course in Cincinnati. Men from four other seminaries: Sacred Heart Seminary (Detroit), Bishop Simon Brute Seminary (Indianapolis), Mundelein Seminary (Chicago) and the Pontifical College Josephinum (Columbus), participated in the event. The Pontifical College Josephinum came away with the win. The 98 golfers took to the greens after celebrating Mass in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great.
“This event is important because it is a unique opportunity for us as a Seminary to host other seminaries and seminarians for a weekend of fun and fraternity,” said Rev. Mr. Kyle Ink., who is in his final year of formation at MTSM and coordinated the event this year. “It also helps us in formation, in particular our human formation, because it allows us an opportunity to engage with other men who are looking to become priests of Jesus Christ.”
The men enjoyed a banquet at MTSM after the outing with an opportunity to win raffle prizes.
