MTSM Hosts Solemn Vespers on the Eve of the Immaculate Conception
12.09.24Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology (MTSM) hosted its annual Solemn Vespers on the Eve of the Immaculate Conception on Sunday (December 8) evening in front of a capacity audience in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great.
The evening’s service, with MTSM President/Rector The Very Rev. Anthony R. Brausch serving as presider and with Bishop of Columbus and MTSM graduate The Most Rev. Earl Fernandes also in attendance, featured performances by the Athenaeum Chorale and Mount St. Mary’s Seminary Latin Schola.
The annual Immaculate Conception Vespers is part of MTSM’s Music & Liturgy Series. The next M&L event will be Sunday, February 16 at 7 p.m., with Solemn Vespers featuring an organ recital by Dr. Nicole Simental, the Director of Music at Buckeye Catholic.
