MTSM Sacred Music Institute Hosts Fall 2025 Organ Recital

The Sacred Music Institute at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary & School of Theology hosted its annual fall organ recital on Sunday, November 9, in the Chapel of St. Gregory the Great. MTSM was excited to welcome Dr. Kimberly Marshall, an accomplished organist and the holder of the Patricia and Leonard Goldman Endowed Professorship in Organ at Arizona State University. Dr. Marshall’s hour-long program featured works by Messiaen, Andresky, Buxtehude, Alain, Bates and Bach.
In addition, Dr. Marshall performed the Magificat Quarti Toni (Magnificat on the Fourth Tone), which she did in alternatim with the Mount St. Mary’s Seminary Latin Schola. The Latin Schola consisted of seminarians Clement Akerblom (Diocese of Charlotte), Aron Aziz (Diocese of Columbus), Raymond Duffy (Columbus), David Morand (Archdiocese of Cincinnati), Alex Parra (Cincinnati), Dominic Ratliff (Columbus), Evan Sekerak (Diocese of Toledo), David Slonkosky (Cincinnati), Jeremy Smith (Toledo), John Ulmer (Cincinnati), Ben Van Buren (Columbus) and Emerson Wells (Archdiocese of Louisville).
